If you’ve ever wanted to try BODYPUMP but have always made the usual excuses, there won’t be a better time than next Sunday, June 27th, as 6 of our BODYPUMP Team present the latest, greatest, BODYPUMP 74.

Want a teaser?
Here’s the official BODYPUMP Sizzler:

Get ready for what may be our fiercest release yet. Right from Track 2, the hammer goes down and the intensity does not back off. Watch out for exciting new tempos and some killer supersets. Quick transitions and the shortest recoveries in the history of BodyPump mean you muscles are working from start to finish.

The massive energy and drive of This Is Who I Am sets the pace upfront. The new tempo challenges the legs, driving the heart rat up. We Weren’t Born To Follow and we prove it in Track 3 as the classic Rock sounds grounds the workout into the bench, bringing great muscle isolation to the chest.

Track 6 delivers a Boom Boom Pow to the biceps. This was a massive hit for the Black Eyed Peas originally - this one breaks the mold and you’re gonna love it!. We’re getting Dangerous in Track 7 with some Static Lunges followed straight up by some Dynamic Backward-Stepping Lunges for explosive glute training.

Track 9 brings the introduction of an exciting new move. The cool R&B sounds of this cruisy number creates massive contrast from the Shoulder Track. then, just in case you thought it was time to relax, there’s Walking Hovers to challenge even the strongest abdominals.

  • Warm-up: Tim’s party people in the hizzouse, bring it loud as we kick it strong. Word.
  • Squats: Kelsi drops the bass for five sets of low body poetry.
  • Chest: Strong and long with Donna. Endurance to the max.
  • Back: Gwen Stefani never sounded as good as your backside will look after Kelsi reinforces the mandate, “Don’t Speak” by taking you breathless.
  • Triceps: Allyson shows us the meaning of Tri as she blasts the backside of the guns with Britney’s ‘3’.
  • Biceps: Nancy polishes the topside of those guns with a little ‘Boom Boom Pow’ and a return of the mid-range pulse.
  • Lunges: Nancy won’t let up as she gets ‘Dangerous’ all one leg at a time.
  • Shoulders: Kelly? ‘She’s a Genius’ when it comes to sculpting those shoulders.
  • Core: Allyson gets ‘In My Head’ as she works us both sides up.
  • Stretch: Arguably the most important exercise of the day if you want to avoid injury. Tim teaches us the ‘Art of Love’ as he lifts us up and lengthens our tender bodies.
So where you gonna be next Sunday at 3:15?

Interestingly enough, I'll be front and center too! I'll be the one wearing Red and Black. How will I recognize you?

I will be the one grinning/grimacing from ear to ear as I squat 45-50 lbs.

That's specific!

Oh, and I have a very weak shoulder press. For some reason it never improves. Everything else is fine, but my shoulder press just isn't there.

Release 74 was a lot of fun. There was high energy, lots of people, good music, heavy barbells, and lot's of sweat! I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. I was a little worried about the five and a half minute squat track, but what really did me in were the lunges. Can't wait to do it again!
